Occupy Grand Junction

Ongoing rallies beginning Oct. 15

The Occupy movements are not about liberal v. conservative or union v. non-union; however, the basic message is the same one that unions have been trying to get out for years. Democracy should not go to the highest bidder and the creation of good jobs should receive far more of our focus than it has. This movement is gaining strength across the country, it is up to all of us to stand up and take control of our country.

This is not a 1 time event, it should continue every day for quite a while. Even if you do not want to “protest”, stop by and talk to people. You can also become a part of the discussion by finding Occupy Grand Junction on Facebook.
